I was born and raised in Istanbul. I graduated from the Psychology (English) department at Istanbul Fatih University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences. After graduating from English Preparatory School, I went to Boston and studied English at the Boston English Academy. I also studied as an exchange student at Mykolas Romeris University in Lithuania.
I completed my master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Istanbul Gelişim University. As the subject of my thesis, I conducted research on the Relationship Between Perceived Object Relations, Loneliness and Self-Perception in Adulthood. During my undergraduate and graduate education, I participated various psychotherapy training programs such as EMDR Therapy, EFT Therapy, Solution Focused Psychotherapy, Integrative Psychotherapy, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Psychodrama training.
In the light of the trainings I have received, I work with a holistic approach based on the Emotion-Focused and Psychodynamic Therapy approach and combining the training I have received.
Since 2015, I have had the opportunity to work with vulnerable groups of children and adults from different ethnic groups such as Libya, Syria, Egypt, Palestine, England, Lebanon and Iraq. I have been active in voluntary work after disasters both at home and abroad. My volunteer work in the field of Psychological Trauma still continues. I organize many workshops to increase awareness and self-help initiatives on this issue.
I provide online or face-to-face therapy support in Turkish and English all over the world, and currently continue my work at the Psychomental Psychology Center in Bakırköy, Istanbul, where Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologist, Psychological Counsellor, Family Counselor, Child Psychologist and Adolescent Psychologist, who have adopted a professional principle of holistic study, continue their work.
I am a member of the EMDR Trauma Recovery Association and of the Turkish Psychologists Association.
